Now, get yourselves comfy, here comes story time by Giordano of how he spent 11 hours waiting for the New Balance sneakers:
"There I was, with my sleeping bag and rucksack (filled with drinks and lots of unhealthy stuff) in front of the Lijfstijl (RIP), Rotterdam. I didn't expect that many people standing in the cold for a pair of sneakers. What were they thinking? What was I thinking? Am I part of a scary sneaker cult? It was freaking November 1st, so you could imagine. Before I left the house, I decided to wrap myself in all the sweaters/jackets I could find in my wardrobe. I actually didn't feel cold, I guess all the alcohol played a huge part in all this. Anyways, it was a chilled (no pun) out experience, everyone brought their own sleeping bags/fatboys, and were enjoying Star Wars movies that the owners played outside. 11 hours later, I transformed into a Warsie (Star Wars fan), and smelled like a hobo but I finally got my exclusive Rotterdam x New Balance X Cockroach sneakers. And it was totally worth it. Once I got home, I took a shower and went straight to Amsterdam, cause I had a fashion garage sale to attend. Live the dream!"
